Job Responsibilities

Althea Care is looking for a Care Coordinator for our clinic in Copenhagen. The role involves digital patient visits as well as patient administrative tasks, such as preparing applications to the Swedish Social Insurance Agency regarding care abroad and reviewing patient records.

Qualifications

We prefer applicants with experience in social work and the ability to communicate clearly in both Swedish spoken and written language. Education in social work, psychology, or as a nursing assistant is advantageous.

To thrive in the role of Care Coordinator at Althea Care, it is important to be empathetic, have good communication skills, be meticulous, structured, and have a strong ability to organize and prioritize your work. You should be able to navigate digital medical record systems as well as Windows and Adobe with ease.

About Althea Care

Althea Care is a psychiatric clinic in Copenhagen for Danish and Swedish citizens. We offer neuropsychiatric assessments for children and adults, such as ADHD, autism, and intellectual disabilities. In addition to psychiatric services, we also coordinate somatic care, including cardiology, orthopedics, and urology, in collaboration with hospitals and specialist clinics in Denmark.

The clinic is located in Copenhagen, where the majority of clinical work consists of assessing and treating neuropsychiatric diagnoses. Patients with substance abuse issues are not part of the clinic's scope.

Care processes at Althea Care are clearly structured and based on national guidelines for each diagnosis. In clinical work, there are guidelines that protect patient safety while creating room for individually adapted care.

Among our staff are doctors, psychologists, nurses, speech therapists, and administrators.
